Ordering School Lunch

We have partnered with ChefAdvantage to make fresh, nutritious lunches available for our students to purchase. Through BOONLI, the ChefAdvantage online platform, families can view the lunch menu, order or prepay, and manage student lunches from a smartphone, tablet, or computer. For more information about how to use the platform, please click here.

To register for BOONLI, click here.

  1. Click on "Register."

  2. School Password is: CCA66

  3. Navigate to August and click on “Aug: Lunch”

Students are not required to purchase lunches through ChefAdvantage and are always welcome to bring their lunch from home. Each month’s menu will be available by the 15th of the previous month (for example, September’s menu will be available on August 15).

Please note it is too late to order lunch for the first day of school. Please make sure you remember to pack a lunch for your child’s first day if this is the case.

The deadline for ordering is 9am the prior BUSINESS day.

Free and Reduced Lunch (FRL)

We want to be sure all eligible families have accessedFree and Reduced Lunch (FRL). All families who have applied for FRL have been processed. If you believe you are eligible for FRL and the discount is not showing in your Boonli account, please review the Financial Assistance webpage and follow the instructions. You can also email frl@cherokeeclassicalacademy.org.

After School Program (ASP)

We are pleased to announce our After School Program (ASP) which will be offered Monday - Friday from 3:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. Because our program will be managed internally, we can ensure that the instruction in virtue and character that our students receive during the school day will continue seamlessly in aftercare. Some members of our ASP staff will also serve on the school staff during the regular school day. This will allow us to know our students and families even better.

We will not have ASP on planned half-days, or days of scheduled events.

Please visit our After School Page for registration and all the details.

ParentSquare

CCA will use ParentSquare to provide a simple and safe way for parents, teachers, program leaders, and administrators to connect.

With ParentSquare, you will be able to:

  • Receive school and classroom communications via email, text, or app

  • Complete forms and make payments

  • View the school and classroom calendar and RSVP for events

  • Easily sign up to volunteer and/or bring items

  • And much more… all in one centralized place!

How to activate your account

At registration, each parent or gurardian will need to provide an ID, phone and an individual email address. For the purposes of our systems, parents/guardians will not be able to share a “family” email address.

Within 24 hours of registration, you should have received an invitation email or text to join ParentSquare. Please click the link to activate your account: it takes less than a minute. You can use ParentSquare on any device, and we encourage you to download the free mobile app for iOS or Android. You can also use the desktop version at parentsquare.com.

ParentSquare uses contact information from CCA's student information system, Infinite Campus. You will be provided with information about Infinite Campus once you have completed registration.

If you did not receive an invitation or have trouble activating your account, have you had a previous log in at another school? This is usually the case. Please login with your existing account and make sure you can see your student and “Cherokee Classical Academy” below their name. If the school listed is still your old school, you may need to contact them and remind them to unenroll your child.

If you still have trouble accessing your account, contact support@parentsquare.com.

If you have other questions, please contact parentsquare@cherokeeclassicalacademy.org.

Arrival & Dismissal

Morning drop-off will take place between 7:25 and 7:55 am. Any vehicles arriving after 7:55 will not be permitted to enter the carline and will need to park in the parking lot and walk their students into the front office to sign them in.

Afternoon pick-up will take place between 2:55 and 3:25 pm. Any vehicles arriving after 3:25 will need to park in the parking lot and retrieve their student(s) from the ASP door on the right side of the building near the cafeteria. A drop-in rate for ASP will be charged for any student(s) who are not picked up during normal afternoon pick-up operation. Students will not be held in their classrooms or the front office for any amount of time after afternoon pick-up ends.

This will be strictly enforced.

Click here to view information about parking, carline, and more.

Let’s be friendly neighbors. Please don’t block driveways.

We ask you to be kind to our neighbors during carline, so we ask that you please do not line up in front of our neighbors driveway. We really want to love on our neighbors and be good stewards of their entry and exit from their homes.

How do I get extra car tags?

If you need extra carline tags, we ask you to come to the office Wednesday between 10 a.m. and 2:00 p.m.

Any individual attempting to go through carline, must have this tag in order to pick your child(ren) up in the afternoon.

Office Hours

The front office will open at 7:30a.m., Monday - Friday. The office will be close each day at 2pm. Early checkout must be completed no later than 2p.m.

If you forget your cartag, and do not arrive before 2pm, you will need to pick your child up from the ASP door on the right side of the building, after carline is completed.

Please remember to be familiar with the Attendance Policy located on page 23 in the “3000 School Life & Environment” section of our Cherokee Classical Academy Handbook.

Lost & Found

Please remember to put names in your children's accessories, like sweaters and jackets. We get many of them sent to the lost and found each day, and it's always better to be able to know who they belong to so we can return them to their owners.

Currently, we have a large number of water bottles in the lost & found. If you are missing a water bottle, please come and claim it at the front desk.

Volunteer Opportunities

Volunteers are always critical to the success of our school, and are always so appreciated. There are still many needs we have to help make opening day perfect for our children. If you have time to spend even an hour helping out, we’d love to see you on campus!

Please completed your volunteer training, as this will be required for the year if you are going to be at the school and volunteering around the children. Please click here to access the training.

Once you have completed your training, and successfully logged into ParentSquare, you will be added to the CCA Parent Volunteer Association (PVA) group, where you will be able to complete a survey on your special skills and interests, as well as see all the active volunteer opportunities.

You will not be able to see volunteer opportunities until you have completed your training, and successfully logged into ParentSquare using the same email.

You may also contact the school at communications@cherokeecharteracademy.org if you have special talents or just have an available block of time available that is different than what is listed on the signup page.
